I interviewed Michele for a topic on Leadership for Social Impact, with a focus on allyship and walking together with First Nations people. It was a powerful contribution to the course that constructively and passionately explored challenging issues like culturally respectful values-driven leadership and white privilege. Michele is incredibly experienced in the world of health services and stakeholder engagement, but it is more than that. She can scoop off the top of all that practice wisdom that to speak to the deep learnings and articulate an inspiring yet pragmatic vision of how the world could work - how it should work. And, from my brief time working with her, I can see that she embraces this as a way of life.
